                                                                                                                When the Mountain Brook Chamber of Commerce asked Vulcan Media to develop and produce a news-magazine style TV program promoting the community, we had no idea what a groundbreaking project this would be. Our MBTV show, which airs on select Charter Cable systems and online, is a first-of-a-kind local news and information show and is the perfect example of how business organizations can leverage video across multiple platforms as a communication tool, a service, even a fundraiser.

                                                                                                                                              Working with The Salvation Army's Alabama Louisiana, Mississippi Division, Vulcan Media provided video production and video news release material in support of recovery efforts following the April 2011 tornado outbreak which hit Monroe County, Mississippi, Tuscaloosa and Birmingham, Alabama.

When the University of Alabama rededicated historic Foster Auditorium in 2010, they turned to Vulcan Media to provide video documentary coverage of the day's events for use as online video, video news release material and archival video.

Vulcan Media provided industrial and technical video production service to support a marketing video by KoneCranes. Vulcan Media worked with representatives from the company's Americas division and with a Finland-based editing team, for this truly international video project.

The successful Luther Strange campaign for Alabama Attorney General relied on Vulcan Media for nearly every aspect of campaign communication and advertising. We're proud to have provided media relations services and political media buying services in addition to generating website content, social media content and video production of material for campaign commercials and website video.

In our service to TekLinks, Vulcan Media produced website video to communicate complex, technical procedures which were difficult to present through written words alone. The project called for corporate and marketing video production including a facility video tour and customer information video. 

The MLS Board of the Birmingham Association of REALTORS® selected Vulcan Media as the local television commercial producer and media buyer for a TV ad campaign promoting tax credits for home buyers.

Vulcan Media provides travel and tourism video production in Alabama, Mississippi and Florida. Our work recently led us to Aberdeen, Mississippi, a charming, historic town filled with amenities and it's one of the state's Certified Retirement Communities. The Aberdeen Visitors Bureau, with a grant from the Mississippi Development Authority, selected Vulcan Media for video production of a tourism and travel marketing video series. With a production schedule of 14 months, Vulcan Media captured year-round events, seasonal images and interviews to convey the history and appealing lifestyle of this northeast Mississippi town. The project includes a series of web videos and DVDs.

Vulcan Media produced and placed a television commercial promoting the Birmingham Botanical Gardens's 2010 fundraising event, "Antiques at the Gardens." 

Besides short-form video production, Vulcan Media is a Birmingham television and infomercial production company. In 2010, the Birmingham NBC affiliate tapped us to produce a one-hour television special about changes to Medicare Part-D and Social Security. Vulcan Media conducted extensive research about these government programs. We gathered a panel of experts including national and state authorities on senior issues and we developed the television program’s complete content. Veteran journalist and Vulcan Media founder Scott Mauldin, who has received awards for producing content about senior issues, hosted the program.

Vulcan Media's most recent project for Seale Harris Clinic includes producing a video virtual tour of their state-of-the-art primary care facility at Birmingham's St. Vincent's Hospital. 

Gastroenterology Associates West, PC & Princeton Baptist Medical Center
The medical video production experience of Vulcan Media helped Gastroenterology Associates provide website video, trade-show video and patient education video on the issue of colorectal cancer. Accuracy and in-hospital video work were required for this project which was then promoted as website video by the hospital.

Birmingham Heart Clinic trusted the medical video production experience of Vulcan Media to produce a video tour for the web showcasing their state-of-the-art facility, key equipment and providing patient information.

Combining our experience with medical video production and video tours, Vulcan Media worked with ETG to develop a range of marketing videos and training videos. We're happy to have helped ETG leverage video as a sales tool and as a simple solution for communicating complex information about their physician-based IT services.

As a video production and video marketing business, Vulcan Media is often asked to produce fundraising video projects. The wonderful work at Birmingham's Spring Valley School made this project a pleasure. We helped define the school's unique educational mission with a fundraising video on DVD for parents, donors and the public. We were challenged to research and accurately portray detailed educational programs for students with dyslexia. And we wanted to show more than the curriculum. We worked with teachers and parents to develop a story which helps reveal the positive, emotional benefits of Spring Valley's work. The project resulted in a compelling 10 minute video feature.

As a Birmingham television commercial and production company, Vulcan Media produced and placed a national public service announcement for the Alabama Wildlife Center. We also placed the PSA on state-wide TV in Alabama.  The non-profit Alabama Wildlife Center is the state's oldest and largest wildlife rehabilitation organization. Vulcan Media provides meeting video coverage and Birmingham freelance videographer service for special events and we're glad to continue serving the non-profit Children's Village with video production, fundraising video and marketing assistance.

Vulcan Media's Birmingham video producers are accomplished writers, and when available, we serve print publications by offering freelance writing service. That's what led us to this global advertising firm which operates in 15 countries. Our most recent project was a to produce written content for a USA Today print insert, reaching an audience of millions in major US cities.

 
Motorpool.com is often called, "Facebook for car buffs," and the social networking business relied on Vulcan Media to mount a national media relations campaign. This 48-state driving tour introduced the Motorpool brand and concept to millions and was centered on free, earned media exposure in many of the nation's top media markets.
